The balance of the equity will be provided by the local promoters and investors.

The foreign partner could discover a reliable method of gaining market entry into the huge domestic markets and of sourcing products in a low cost manufacturing environment for sale in the international markets resulting in new profit opportunities. Dividends and capital growth benefit all the investors.

An alternative to an equity joint venture system would be local manufacture under license or other forms of cooperation.
